I’m Marisa, a contemporary artist, mother of two, and passionate art educator. My relationship with art began in childhood through graphite and drawing, where I first discovered the quiet joy of bringing ideas and emotions to life through my hands.

In 2018, I discovered the art of paper quilling. What began as a simple curiosity quickly became a passion. I was captivated by the transformation of humble strips of paper into intricate, dimensional works of art. Quilling has since become an integral part of my creative journey, offering me a unique way to explore patience, detail, beauty, and expression.

While creating is deeply fulfilling, my greatest passion lies in sharing the creative experience with others. I believe art has the ability to connect us, inspire confidence, create moments of peace, and reveal possibilities we may not have recognized within ourselves.

Through my work and teaching, I hope to create more than art—I hope to create moments of connection and healing. My greatest aspiration is to use creativity as a means of bringing a little more beauty and light into the world, one person at a time.
