General Questions

What is paper quilling?

      Paper quilling is the art of form of rolling, shaping and gluing paper strips to creative decorative designs. It is also known as paper filigree.

What age range is paper quilling for? 

     Anyone with the patience and dexterity can paper quill.

Class/Workshop Questions

How do I sign up for a class or workshop?

     Easy! Click on the workshop link at the top of the page or click here to register.   

 

Do I need to preregister for a class or workshop?

     Yes. Registering is required to guarantee a spot. Class sizes are limited.

 

What time should I arrive for my class or workshop? 

     I recommend showing up 15 minutes prior to the scheduled event. Please respect that everyone's time is valuable and arrive on time.

How long are workshops?

     Workshops are typically 2 hours but can run longer depending on skill level. 

​

Can I choose colors other than the ones pictured in the class or workshop?

    Absolutely. I bring a variety of colors to choose from. Please arrive early to pick your selection.

How old / what age do I need to be to take a class or workshop?

     I recommend 13 and older, but anyone with the patience and hand dexterity can participate. 

​

What do I bring with me to my class/ workshop?

     I provide all supplies and materials for all in person workshops. If you require any visual aids to see up close, please bring them. 

​

Do I need any experience to attend a class or workshop?

     I offer a wide range of workshops. Most of my workshops require no experience. I recommend attending several classes/workshops before taking any intermediate or advanced ones.

Can I book a private class/workshop?

     Yes. I do private events. You are required to provide the venue, table and seating. I will bring the rest. Fill out my contact form here and I will get back to you shortly.

I can't make my class/workshop. Can I get a refund?

     If you can't make it I would be happy to supply a credit for a future class, workshop or purchase of a quilling kit. Refunds are not available.

Artist Questions

How long have you been making art?

     I have been making art as long as I can remember. I started paper quilling in 2018

​

Do you take commissions?  

     Yes. I require a non refundable deposit of 40% of the total piece to start. The rest is due upon completion. To discuss a custom piece contact me here.
